The description is a little misleading. Where it says 4 adjustable voice levels it really should read 4 adjustable volume levels. I was under the impression that this doorbell also worked like an intercom because of the description. That would have made it really nice so I am knocking off a star because of the description of the product.

As far as the door bell itself goes, it is really great. This door bell is perfect for the hard of hearing and the deaf. With having 4 volume levels you can set this to just the right level for you. There are also 52 different chime patterns to choose from. There are so many it might be hard to pick which one you like the best. For those who are totally deaf the receiver has lights on it so that it lights up when the door bell rings. This way you can see when it rings.

The receiver of this model plugs into the wall so you don't need batteries for it. The doorbell itself does require a battery which is included with the doorbell. You can't go wrong with this doorbell. Well the only way you could go wrong is if your grandson installs the doorbell upside down ROFL but it works that way too.
