I love this pillow mat because last night when I went to bed I was burning up from the heat and I laid down and had this pillow under my neck. Oh it felt so cold. It brought my body temperature down within a few minutes. I was then able to get to sleep in no time at all. This pillow dose not take up much room in the refrigerator. I just put mine up against the wall behind a water dispenser. The pillow case that comes with the pad comes off and is machine washable. The pillow case is made so that no part of the gel pad is exposed when the pillow case is no it. If the pad get soiled then just wipe that down with a wet towel. The gel is covered in the same fabric as the pillow case but I would not chance washing it in a machine. It is well constructed and pretty light weight.

This pillow/pad would be perfect for woman when they have to deal with night sweats or hot flashes. I really wish I had of had it back then.
