Money problems

I had money stolen from me and ended up having to do 4 charge backs. One I know was to a scrapbooking site (Gotta pixel) one was to what I think was a scrap booking site but not really any clue as it just has a persons name on it. One was even to Barns and Noble. And the forth one was to some place called AP9 Value Max.  This Value Max place also took money straight out of my checking account. There was even money taken straight out of my account to something called Onieda as well as a few others that I did not totally catch the name off from the woman at the bank.  I have been doing scarpbooking for years now and have been shopping at Gotta pixel. I e-mailed Stacy Carlson and told her explained to her what happened and don't you know the woman banned me from her site. I can no longer go to her forum. I can't even begin to tell you how much money I have not only spent at her site but on her products. I hope she never bothers to come to my site because I will ban her as soon as she does. I hope when she tries to dispute the charge back to paypal that she also shows them my e-mail with the explanation on it because if she don't I will. This situation is costing me almost $500 and when you live on a fixed income of only $700 that does not leave much to live off of the next month. When I'm going to get money just to keep the electric on I have no clue.

Missie MD Designs

It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that a couple of weeks ago Missie passed away. she never woke up at all. She was able to pass away peacefully. Missie will be greatly missed.

Anyone who wants to make a kit and sell it in her name for the proceeds to go the brain cancer research may do so. Missies husband has given us permission to keep her store open and to help keep her dream of helping the child with brain cancer.

Someone from DXD will be making a gray ribbon with Missie's name on it to be put on the previews. In your description you must also put "Made by (your name) in loving memory of Missie". This way people will know that it was not in fact made by Missie but for Missie.

Zip files should be named MD_Designs_(your name)_(kit name)
Files should be (your name)_(kit name)_item

If you can try to use gray as one of the colors in the kit. The reason for gray is that is the color of the ribbon for Brain Cancer.

I was the families wishes that I wait until today to break this very sad news to everyone. They did not want to ruin anyone's Christmas. It is also the wishes of the family that they not be contacted. Please respect their wishes.

Digi By Design is now under new management. I took over the management of the site late last week. I have no clue what I am doing and I must have gone nuts. But with Andy's help I'm learning. I have even hired 2 new designers this week. One has her store set up and products uploaded but not put in the store yet. The other one I'm just getting set up. I have already spoken to another designer who says she will be joining us on DEC 1. I am dedicated to bring you more designers in the coming weeks. I want us to continue to be one big happy family.

Cheeseburger Pizza

Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Start to Finish: 30 Minutes
1 can (11 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated thin pizza crust
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup pickle relish (not sweet)
3/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
4 slices crisply cooked hickory smoked bacon, chopped
1 1/2 cups shredded American cheese (6 oz)
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1. Heat oven to 400°F. Spray or grease 15x10-inch or larger dark or nonstick cookie sheet. Unroll dough on cookie sheet; starting at center, press dough into 15x10-inch rectangle.
2. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef, onion and pepper over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until cooked thoroughly; drain. Stir in relish, ketchup and mustard. Spoon evenly over dough. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese.
3. Bake 14 to 19 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Top with lettuce and tomato. Serve immediately. 8 servings

I found this really fun typing skills site today. It is called Type Racer. If your typing is anything like mine you will love this site to help bring up your typing speed. I won't tell you how slow I type but it is slow. So check out Type Racer and see what you think of it.

A site I found

I found this site called Geni and I think for anyone who is trying to keep track of their family history that this would be a great site to check out. By The Way, it is FREE and I know how we all love FREE. So why not stop  and Visit Geni and see what it is all about. Don't just take my word for it, this is one site you will want to check into. I know as a scrap booker that we are trying to keep track of our family and that is what this site is about. But it lets you put in more than the basic information, you can list schools, interest, your favorite book or even your favorite movie. This will give a more complete picture of who we all are. So hope on over to Geni and see what it is about.

 

Where are the kids suppose to be tonight? Where are they to be tomorrow night? How about a site that will help you keep track of where everyone is suppose to be? Better yet what about a FREE site that will help you keep track of things including your shopping list? Well there sure is one. That site is called Cozi.

This is a really great site to keep all your shopping list and to know where everyone is suppose to be all the time. You can even sync it Outlook or your PDA. There is also a downloadable tool bar, that is if you really want another tool bar on your screen. You can have a text message of your shopping list sent to your cell phone while your in the store. Green

I know so many people are trying to go GREEN these days. I have found a FREE site that will help you do just that.

Ideal Bite has a lot of really great tips that you can use. One thing that most homes don't have any more is fire places. Older homes like mine that used to be heated with a fire place are really great. All year long I never throw out any paper or cardboard. I save it all up. Then in the winter when I am having to heat the house I light a fire. My fire place will raise the temperature of the downstairs by 10 degrees. I only keep the furnace set at 55 degrees and then I let the fireplace do the rest. This reduces the heating bill of this house by about $100 a month. All that paper and cardboard don't go into the landfill and I get what I refer to as FREE heat. So check out Ideal Bite and see what you can do to help save the planet.

I have to say Midnight has herself a best friend now. Or at least someone who puts up with her. But either way Midnight loves Piglet. Where ever Piglet goes Midnight has to follow. So I did a layout showing just how much my little heathen loves her new big sister. Now how Midnight is sleeping with her head rested on Piglet. I liked this layout so much I turned it into a quick page and decided I would share it with you all. The kit used was Old English Rose by Acorn Designs. this will be available at Digi by Designs soon.

1. I do not have cable or satellite service. I have Net Flix and can have 4 DVD's at a time out. So I don't have to be ripped off by Comcast Cable.

2. I have 4 fur babies. 3 cats and 1 heathen of a kitten. Because of the heathen I have to kitty proof my house to keep her from killing herself. (look at yesterdays post)

3. I am very happily DIVORCED. The only way I want a man now is one I can send home before morning.

4. I am a penny pincher and will do my best to get everything for free or for very little cost. My Christmas shopping is done all but my 2 grandsons and so far I've spent a grand total of $5.00

5. I live in a house that is over 200 years old. It is owned by my daughter and was owned by my mother before that. It was the second house ever built in this area. The first house is across the street from me.

6. I have really bad nerves and even I don't like me if I don't have my medicine. Even with it if I am under to much stress I can still have problems. But 95% of the time I'm fine.

7. I have 5 grand kids. All by one daughter with ages ranging from 3 to 11. They can come to my house as long as they stay outside. I call them the wrecking crew.
