This cream is a light orange color and it was cool when I put it on. I put a thin film all over my face and with what I had left on my fingers I put it on my neck. I left mine on more than the twenty minutes it says to leave it on because I took a nap. I ended up leaving it on for about an hour. I washed it off with a soft wash cloth and it came off really easy. After I was don't my face felt really soft and clean. I can't say that this will help with the fine lines or signs of aging because I have not been using it long enough. I am only say that yes my skin felt better after I used it. It only takes a little bit of this gel to cover your whole face. I did not detect any order and it did not sting my face when I put it on.
