I am only going to give this four stars because of how deceptive the description is. This is not for small dogs in any way. The rope is bigger than my baby. I would not even say it is good for medium size dogs but it is a great toy for the large and extra large dogs. If you have a Saint Barnard Then this rope is perfect for him. But if you have a Papillon then I would say that this rope is not going to work for you.
So I will review this as if I had a large dog, seeing I am going to end up giving this to my daughter for her large dog. The rope is well made. The knots are tight and the threads are really tight. You dog is going to love playing tug-a-war with you. You can see in my photos how big the rope is for my little on who is trying to play with the new toy.
I set the rope on my Apple keyboard just so you could get a better idea of the size of this rope.
