Even though I don't care for the color RED I am giving these 5 stars because they are well made and very flexible. We took some food out of a 450 degree oven and there was no heat on our hands and no burn marks on the gloves. I'm not sure why all the products like this have to be made out of such bright ugly colors but they are. The gloves even fit my room mate very large hands with ease.  The little heart design on the is really cute and it also helps to grip the item you are picking up.

This is not the first set I have owned but I really did not like the feel of the fabric with the silicone strips on them. Those felt bulkier than these do. I gave them to my son-n-law who does a lot of grilling. Wat style you buy depends on your own comfort but I can tell you that we really like these here in our house.
