This is a very lovely hat. It is very well made. It has two hair clips for holding the hat in place and it also has a elastic band to hold the hat in place on windy days. The hat itself is made of 100% wool. The were no crushed bows, flowers or feathers when I received this. If I was a hat wearer I would simply love this hat but I got it as a gift for someone else. The hat comes in a fairly flat box don't worry about that. Once you fluff the had back up it is in perfect shape. This hat is so perfect for going to church, a hot dinner date or party. These hats will do one thing for you, when you wear it out they will help to start conversations and people will be coming up to you telling you how much they love your beautiful hat. If you love wear hats then I would totally recommend this hate for you. This is one hat they every woman should have a black one in the closet because you never know when you might need to go to a funeral.
