I was trying these out this morning and the blades are really sharp for cutting away all the dead dry skin on the bottom of my feet. These really did the job but I really find one draw back in them. I had to keep my thumb on the blade to hold it in place while I was working with it. I use a sawing motion when I am doing my feet and when I draw back on the handle the blade likes to slide out. It was no big deal to hold my thumb on it to keep it in place. I just wish there had been something on the end that would keep the blade in place. Does this do a good job? I would say it really does a great job and it is because of the blade sliding that I am giving this a four star rating. I have tried those "electric" ones to remove the dead skin and for me they just don't have enough power. I prefer this type of blade to remove the dead skin. I really like using this type after I have soaked my feet for a few minutes and then it really works twice as fast. With the electric kind you can't soak your feet first.
