I got this monitor the other day and I was able it set it up with out any trouble. When it was first turned on it went straight to the set up mode. You push the set button to except a setting and you push the mem button to change the numbers. this will cycle all the way through to set the year, date, time and more.

When you are ready to use this put the face of the monitor on the inside of your wrist about 1/2 inch from your joint and hold your wrist where it is even with your heart. Then just push the start button. One the monitor is done reading it will show your SYS and DIA reading along with your pulse on the right hand side.. You will then see a little arrow on the left hand side of the monitor while will indicate to you if your blood pressure is normal or high. It has a total of 5 levels where other monitors I have seen only have 3 or some have none. The 5 levels are Normal, Pre High, G1, G2 and G3. This monitor stores your readings so that if you need to keep track of them you can.

This monitor comes in a really nice little case so that it will always be easy to get a hold of. There is an extra little piece of Velcro which looks like it is out of place but it hold the wrist strap in place when you go to put the monitor back in its case. I really love this little blood pressure monitor because I have really large upper arms and most blood pressure cuffs will not fit my upper arm but this one fits really great on my wrist.

Directions
Tie the Cuff 1.Remove all accessories (watch, bracelet, etc) from your left wrist. If your physician has diagnosed you with poor circulation in your left wrist, use your right wrist. 2. Roll or push up your sleeve to expose the skin. Apply the cuff to your left wrist with your palm facing up. 3. The edge of the cuff should be 1-1.5 cm or about half an inch away from the wrist joint. 4. Fasten the wrist cuff around your wrist, leaving no extra room between the cuff and your skin. If the cuff is too loose, the measurement will be inaccurate. Start Measurement: 1. It is recommended to rest 5 minutes before take the measurement. 2. Elevate your wrist to keep the Blood Pressure monitor at the same level as your heart 3. Press the "Start" button and wait for process completion. 4. Pay attention to the "Movement Error Symbol" on the LCD screen during measurement. If the display shows the symbol, it means the hand is not in a stable condition, which could cause an inaccurate reading. We advise resting your arm on a table to keep your arm/hand stable during the measurement.
