This is a great bowl that takes up hardly any space when not in use. I opened the bowl up and filled it with homemade soup and put it in the freezer. Then the next day I took it out of the freezer opened the lid but left the lid sitting on the bowl and I put it in the microwave to heat the soup up. This bowl went really well from the freezer to the microwave and when I took it out of the microwave it was warm but not hot like a plastic or glass bowl would be. The lid is easy to put on and take off. I tipped the bowl to the side to see if it was sealed tight or not and not a drop came out. So it has a really nice tight seal. Not only can this go from the freezer to the microwave it can also go from the oven to the freezer. I have not put mine in an oven only because I don't have one but I would recommend that you put it on a cookie sheet before putting it in the over so you have a more stable surface to handle it with.
What I really ordered this bowl for was to use it as a portable bowl for water for my dog but when I received this bowl I realized it was much to big for that. So the bowl went in my kitchen.
This bowl might seem a little pricey but when you think about how long this bowl with last you and everything it can do, it is a good value for your money. I received this bowl at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
